Mas de la Basserola is a winery with a family tradition, located in Pla de Manlleu. The mountainous area that separates the Penedès from Camp de Tarragona, at an altitude of 560 m. Limestone area where the vines grow that provide the winery with wines of great character, where we have made them since 1869 and sparkling since 1987.
In 2003 we started to grow the vineyards in an ecological way, and currently 100% of the production is certified.
We have always bet on maintaining the ancestral cultivation of the olive tree, the almond tree and to a lesser extent fruit trees. That maintain this millenary landscape mosaic of the Mediterranean mountain and enhance the biodiversity of the farm.
Our philosophy is to produce wines that express the "terrer" of the very special area where we are. Protect biodiversity and carry out natural and living agriculture that is in symbiosis with the ecosystem that surrounds us. As well as the commitment to native varieties.
