Freixenet is a family business founded in 1914 (with roots dating back to 1861) and is based in the beautiful cava region of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Barcelona, Spain. It is the largest exporter of sparkling wine from Spain, as well as the world’s largest producer of cava.
Freixenet’s most iconic products, Cordon Negro and Carta Nevada, are the flagships of a range of sparkling wines which are sold in over 100 countries. It has subsidiaries across the globe and wineries in the world’s best wine-growing areas, such as the United States, Mexico, France and Australia.
