Privat is a sparkling wine brand born within the world of cava, with a strong commitment to organic viticulture since its inception. It was one of the first to embrace environmentally respectful production, avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides, and has become a benchmark within the category. Today, its philosophy remains unchanged: to craft wines that reflect their origin with authenticity, balance, and respect for biodiversity.
This commitment comes to life at Finca Almirall, located in Castellví de la Marca (Alt Penedès), an organic vineyard spanning 100 hectares, 53 of which are dedicated to vine cultivation. Part of the estate preserve its natural forest, contributing to the development of a diverse and healthy ecosystem. Situated at 400 meters above sea level, with calcareous-clay soils and a Mediterranean climate, it offers ideal conditions for producing fresh and elegant sparkling wines.
Leading the project is Sandra Estévez, a Galician oenologist with deep family roots in viticulture. Her passion for long-aged sparkling wines is reflected in every bottle, combining technical precision, respect for the terroir, and a sustainable vision.
