Cuscó Berga HISTORY Since the end of the XIX century, the Cuscó i Esteve family have practiced the viticulture producing their own wines and cavas.
It was in 1985 when Josep Cuscó Berga and his sons with great dedication and spirit of improvement, built the current cellar. One son Joan Cuscó, is the winemaker of the cellar, trained in the Priorat and Champagne regions.
This Cellar has a modern design and exceptional conditions for producing great wines. The location where it is built is on the mountain foundations, so we are on a big rock. The conditions to make a good wine and a good cava are unique, and they are due to the mountain characteristics; low humidity, constant temperature during the year and a slow fermentation.
All our production are organic its 40 hectares of vineyards, practice organic farming. We rely on fertilizers of organic origin and the use of natural substances, while we do not use any kind of chemical or synthetic elements in our vineyards.
