Celler Vell is a family winery dedicated exclusively to the production of artisan cava (sparkling wine), nurturing a family tradition that dates from the early 20th century. Pere Estruch Casanovas founded the company in 1954 and his sons continue the work he began, enriched with the experience of over four decades. Nowadays, we find in full conversion to organic farming.
Celler Vell works with the traditional - artisanal - method, taking into account:
Hand-picking of the best grapes on the Estate.
Individual stirring of each bottle in the bottle desk.
Disgorging of each bottle by hand.
This careful process and over two years aging in cellars are what establish the quality of Celler Vell.
