Cava Miquel Pons

Miquel Pons is the brand that our family, after 250 years and several generations transmitting the task of caring for the vineyards and making wine, began to bottle and market. From the old farmhouse of Cal Montargull, house name, now in the village of Granada del Penedès, where the winery is located, always in the area of ​​Penedès and Cava designation of origin.

The operation of the estate has 80 hectares of vineyards, of which 60 are own and the rest leased. They extend from the south of the Arboç to the northern end of Subirats; which allows us to cultivate in different geographical features the various varieties of grapes. The lands of the Penedès have always been characterized as one of the best productive areas for the cultivation of the vine by its winds, richness of nutrients and its privileged rainfall, this allows the obtaining of a grape of exceptional quality.
