A total of 150 unique plots are the origin of our wines and coupages. All the grapes are organically grown and harvested by hand, and the wines are made 100% on the property.
Only native varieties: Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Parellada, plus Trepat for rosé. In the harvest we select the best yeasts of each variety, made with microbiological cultivation. In this way, our wines are always fermented using our own yeasts, thus completing the unique circle of vineyards of origin.
Mountain viticulture: The UBAC estate in Mediona, at an altitude of 550 metres, is the cradle of our Parellada and Trepat grapes, which give a distinctive and unique character to our blends. The extreme temperature differences between night and day, and the particular slate soil, lend our Cava an exceptional mineral character.
Masters of Macabeo. Makers of the only single-varietal Macabeo Cava, fermented in barrels. Macabeo is always the dominant variety in Agustí Torelló Mata blends.
Long aging in the bottle: only Reservas with a minimum aging period of 24 months, and Gran Reservas with aging from 3 to 10 years.
We are the heirs of our own work, and we are forging a future together with the other winegrowers from our land.
