Prestigious American wine editor Ray Isle highlights the versatility of Cava

Executive wine editor of Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure, as well as columnist for several specialised media in the United States, Ray Isle, presented a tasting and pairing with Cava on 10 June.

The highly-anticipated tasting was broadcast live, via Zoom and Facebook Live, to all those who had been able to purchase the pack of participating Cavas through Gary's, the US retail partner.

Ray Isle presented each of the participating Cavas in an accessible way, underscoring their characteristics and suggesting possible dishes and ingredients for pairing, in a comprehensive tasting conducted with finesse that saw about 30 attendees in the live event.

The participating Cavas were: Alta Alella (Alta Alella Mirgin Rosé), Bodegas Langa (Cava Reyes De Aragon El Casto Brut), Canals & Munne (Dionysus Brut Nature Organic), Naveran (Brut Vintage), Roger Goulart (Roger Goulart Gran Reserva 2015), Segura Viudas (Heredat Brut Reserva).
