Pla de Ponent
In the innermost sub-zone of the Comtats of Barcelona area we find the region of Lleida, also known as "Terres de Ponent".
The inland climate, which is more continental being further from maritime influence, is dry and has long hours of sunshine, with a high level of thermal contrast between day and night. The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 200 and 400 metres, in an essentially flat landscape with gentle undulations.
