Last Thursday, 24 September, the Facebook page of Foods & Wines from Spain hosted a webinar that was open to all the page's followers, and whose purpose was to introduce Polish consumers to the qualities of Cava.
For more than forty minutes, users were able to learn about the traditional production process, the different types and styles of Cava depending on its age, and delve beyond theoretical concepts through a guided tasting in order to appreciate the great quality of Cava. The webinar was guided by sommelier and Wine Specialist Michael Stykowski, the only Pole to hold the title of Spanish Wine Scholar.
During this educational tasting, a total of five different Cavas currently available on the Polish market were tasted to showcase the grape varieties, the ageing process, the vintage and the history behind each bottle.
