Sweden is one of the key markets for Cava, being the seventh-largest export market in 2020.
Thus, on 7 September, the D.O. Cava offered a training course to Spanish wine buyers from the Swedish monopoly Systembolaget.
The proposal was received with great enthusiasm, due to the considerable interest in Cava, and especially on hearing the latest news of the Denomination of Origin: the new segmentation and zoning regulations, as well as the quality requirements for this exceptional product.
The training course has undoubtedly served as a springboard for the DO wineries to enjoy future opportunities for participating in tenders in this highly promising market.
