Vilafranca del Penedès, 27 January 2026. Celler Eudald Massana in Sant Pau d'Ordal (Subirats), Caves Bolet from the Mas Lluet estate (Castellví de la Marca), Torrens Moliner from Finca Heretat (La Fortesa), and Rovellats in Sant Martí Sarroca have become the four new Integral Producers of the D.O. CAVA. With these four additions, all family-owned, the select group of this category of the D.O. CAVA now totals 19 wineries. In addition, new wineries are expected to join this year.
The Integral Producer quality seal identifies those wineries of the CAVA D.O. that carry out the entire winemaking process from start to finish on their own property. The full 100% of their base wines are produced and bottled in their own facilities, with each stage of the production process being carefully monitored, from the pressing of the grapes to the final disgorgement.
Xavier Bolet, oenologist and winemaker at Cavas Bolet, points out that "the seal of Integral Producer represents a mark of identity for us, since we have been producing Cava with our own grapes since the beginning ... With this seal, our care for the land is reflected in our Cavas, and is becoming known through wine tourism".
For Josep Cardona, third generation of Rovellats, "this distinction is not only a technical seal; it signifies prestige and positioning within the market, as well as a quality guarantee. It reinforces our identity as a historic Cava, giving added value to our wine and reaffirming our traceability and our commitment to the land. At last we can speak of 100% home-grown Cavas".
Xavier Torrens, third generation at the helm of Torrens Moliner, emphasises the strong family character of these wineries and their firm commitment to the D.O. CAVA. "We have always been defenders of Cava and committed to the quality of the product above all else; a commitment to the territory, to our winegrowers, and to our native Penedès varieties."
This philosophy is shared by all the wineries that have joined the label, such as Eudald Massana. Oriol Massana, the tenth generation of this winemaking family, points out that this seal "reinforces our commitment to origin, quality, and organic and biodynamic viticulture that is faithful to the land".
The president of the D.O. CAVA, Javier Pagés, affirms that the new additions to the seal of Integral Producer "demonstrate the concern for quality, authenticity, excellence and uniqueness". He adds that "the Integral Producer Cavas help to raise the prestige of the sector" and recalls that "as well as the technical aspect, the seal reflects a way of working, and of understanding wine: a commitment to traceability and consistency".
Javier Pagés also confirms that the strict controls of the D.O. CAVA ensure the traceability of the wine’s origin and its high quality standards. He comments that the D.O. CAVA's regulations are "among the most demanding in the world". Pagés has no doubt that "this seal brings tangibly distinctive value, reinforces consumer confidence, and highlights the efforts of wineries that are committed to excellence from the outset".

The Bolet family have been in the wine business for more than seven generations; their winegrowing and winemaking history goes back to 1619. Since 2003, cultivation of their 70-plus hectares of vineyards has been 100% organic, with the CCPAE organic certification. The Bolet family's passion for wine and their love for the land sit alongside their care for the environment and its biodiversity. Thus, all of their wines are organic, and their Cavas are all Guarda Superior Reserva and Gran Reserva.
Eudald Massana belongs to the ninth generation of the Massana family dedicated to viticulture. The winery has 30 hectares of its own vineyards, located in the heart of the Penedès region, in Sant Pau d'Ordal (Subirats). This bodega has been committed to organic and biodynamic cultivation since its inception. All its wines and Cavas are made exclusively from grapes grown on the estate, where six different varieties each of white and red grapes are cultivated.

Rovellats is a family project, now in its third generation, which began in Sant Martí Sarroca, Alt Penedès, drawing on a history linked to wine since the Middle Ages. The cellar, located 12 metres underneath the 15th-century farmhouse which hosts the winery, has a highly original six-pointed star structure and central rotunda, unique in the world. Rovellats is committed to quality and produces a carefully crafted range of wines that continue to shape its long-standing tradition.

Torrens Moliner produced their first bottle under the family name in 1981, after a long tradition in vine cultivation and wine production in La Fortesa, a small town in the Anoia region. Located on the Heretat La Fortesa estate, they control the entire production process, from the vineyard to the final product, pressing and vinifying their own grapes on their property.
The designation ‘Integral Producer’ is given exclusively to wineries that press and produce 100% of the base wine for their Cava production, as well as producing 100% of their Cavas on the same property, and do not purchase any En Rima wines at any stage from other producers. The ‘Integral Producer’ designation can only be used by those wineries that have been recognised annually by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. CAVA as complying with the requirements established for this purpose during the two previous financial years.
The ‘Integral Producer’ label can only be used for Cavas that have been produced entirely on the property; are marketed under brands not shared by other Cava producers; and which fully comply with the requirements of the designation. This distinction may not be used on custom-produced Cavas, and the label must in all cases include the producer's company name. Failure to comply with any of the requirements will result in the loss of the right to use the distinction for the two financial years following the year in which the breach occurred.
With more than 70% of international sales, Cava is the Spanish D.O. with the highest exports. The Cava industry has over 38,000 hectares of vineyards and more than 6,200 winegrowers, and its 349 associated wineries are present in more than 100 countries. Cava, which pairs harmoniously with every type of gastronomy, is made using the traditional method, with a strict commitment to origin, land and sustainability.
