Webinar: A Cava for every dish, by Shakera Jones
On 14 October, coinciding with Cava Discovery Week in the United States, there will be an online seminar and tasting aimed at all audiences, led by Shakera Jones, future Master of Sommelier.
Under the title "A Cava for every dish", this seminar aims to show the versatility and great link between Cava and gastronomy, proposing different styles and types of Cava paired with some ingredients and trendy dishes in American gastronomy.
Shakera Jones is a renowned wine and food communicator who hails from Belize and[FW1] is based in the United States. A tech professional by day and wine student by night, she is currently studying for certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine Scholar Guild (Spanish Wine Scholar).
Shakera is also known on the streaming network SOMM TV, and is part of the cast of the upcoming film SOMM 4. She writes regularly for Food & Wine and SevenFifty Daily, and was recently recognised by Wine & Spirits magazine. In addition to posting frequently on her blog BlackGirlsDineToo, she recently launched her new podcast A Glass for Every Palate.
