Spanish Wine Week Ireland
Spanish Wine Week Ireland is the country’s largest Spanish wine event. The tasting of Cava Designation of Origin with the Master of Wine Barbara Boyle will kick off a sixth edition that is highly anticipated by the Irish public, both for professionals and consumers.
On 20 September, a tasting will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dublin for 35 professionals from the sector. As well as learning about the new segmentation and zoning regulations, they will be introduced to eight types of Cava, from Cava de Guarda to Cava de Guarda Superior de Paraje Calificado.
Barbara Boyle is a director and wine buyer for the wholesale company WineMason, which she set up with her husband Ben Mason in 2014. As well as being a law graduate and editor of The Best of Wine in Ireland wine guide for two years, Barbara is one of Ireland´s six Masters of Wine.
