Cava and Health, a Masterclass at CETT by Dr. Rosa M. Lamuela

On December 10th, a Masterclass on the health benefits of Cava will take place at the University Center of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy attached to the University of Barcelona (CETT).

With the help of FIVIN (Foundation for Wine and Nutrition Research) and Dr. Rosa M Lamuela, we will present to the last year students the benefits of drinking Cava in moderation to our organism.

Culminating the masterful presentation with a guided tasting of different types of Cava de Guarda and Cava de Guarda Superior, demonstrating the great potential of this drink elaborated following the traditional method and its wide benefits for our body.

Dr. Rosa M Lamuela-Raventós holds a PhD in Pharmacy. Full Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Sciences and Gastronomy, Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences, at the University of Barcelona. Since December 2015 she is the Director of the Institute for Nutrition and Food Safety Research (INSA-UB).

She is part of the list of the most influential scientists in the world published by Clarivate Analytics (Highly Cited Researchers) in 2017 and 2018. He has published more than 250 scientific articles and has an h-index of 73.
