Webinar: Segmentation, the Mediterranean origin of Cava, by David Kermode and Katherine Cole

David Kermode is a journalist, writer, broadcaster and international wine judge with two decades of experience in print, online, television and radio.

After gaining a diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in London, David launched Vinosaurus, with the simple mantra of "things to try and why".

David appears on ITV's This Morning, presents The Drinking Hour with David Kermode on Food FM, co-presents a monthly wine hour on BBC local radio, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4, Talk Radio and Sky News to provide his insight on topical issues in the drinks world. David also writes for trade publications The Buyer and Harpers, luxury magazine Club Oenologique and Waitrose Drinks..

Katherine Cole is a journalist and the author of five books on wine, including her latest book Sparkling Wine Anytime. She is the recipient of a James Beard Award and an IACP Award, has been selected as a Louis Roederer International Wine Writer finalist and has been named on the "Imbibe 75" list of "the people, places and flavours that will help shape the way we all drink".

Katherine is currently Communications Director at Vin Agency, a creative and brand design company serving the wine industry. She is also the host and executive producer of The Four Top, a US food and drink podcast that streams on NPR One and Spotify.
