Over the course of last November Cava shone bright in the UK, forming part of an exclusive collaborative effort with Searcys, a restaurant chain boasting more than 175 years of tradition and that has left an indelible mark on London’s culinary scene.
Searcys, renowned for its restaurants and bars specialized in sparkling wines, with venues at iconic and historic locations, including the famous St. Pancras by Searcys, leads the gastronomic scene with its sustainable approach and exquisitely selected wine list. The strategic partnership with Searcys, renowned for its experience in champagne, led to the creation of a luxury pop-up experience captivating both cosmopolitan consumers and influential HNWIs looking for alternatives to classic sparkling wines.
Starting on October 31, for four weeks the spotlight was turned on Cava at two iconic Searcys venues: the St Pancras Station Brasserie and 116 Pall Mall - The Institute of Directors.
St Pancras Station Brasserie, located in one of London's busiest stations, offers an idyllic space to savor the different categories of Cava in a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The 116 Pall Mall - The Institute of Directors location, meanwhile, is the prestigious headquarters of said group and a regular meeting point for professionals and business meetings.
During the month each location hosted tastings of three Cavas in different categories, accompanied by an delightful seasonal menu featuring exquisite culinary pairings with Cava. There were also two parallel gatherings, starting with a media event followed by the "Cava Tasting Event Showroom" on November 21, a special experience that drew more than 130 people.
With over 1.3 million views across various touchpoints and the sale of 1,152 glasses of cava, the luxury pop-up experience proved to be an outstanding collaborative initiative that made a lasting impression on the palates and hearts of lovers of good wine in the UK.
