With the help of the Salamanca Municipal School of Hotel and Catering, and the professional support of Maître d' and Waiter Trainer, Félix de Prado, two Masterclasses were held, which included tasting Cava and explaining its main characteristics.
The 18 students of the Technical Waiter Service training course of learned about Cava, its appropriate temperature and service, as well as tasting and determining its excellent potential for pairing with different dishes.
In addition to the professional training courses, the D.O. Cava also supported the courses aimed at wine-lovers, offered by the same Hotel and Catering School. These are designed for end consumers who want to know more in-depth information about wine, learning about its origins, how to serve it, and pairing tips.
