Cava D.O. highlights its dedication to sustainability in a virtual training session for 200 WSET students

Celebrated wine critic, Jamie Goode, and renowned Cava Expert Trainer, Lauren Denyer, led a successful webinar for WSET London. The event, which featured two leading wineries from the Cava designation, attracted an impressive 200 online attendees.

The seminar offered participants an important opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in the Cava industry, as well as the recent new regulations governing this Designation of Origin. Lauren Denyer shared her in-depth knowledge and experience as a Cava Trainer, providing an enriching insight into the diversity and complexity of Cava.

Jamie Goode provided a critical perspective on the quality and evolution of Cava, highlighting its relevance in the global sparkling wine landscape and its impact on the wine industry.

In addition to the experts' keynote presentations, the seminar also featured the participation of the wineries Juvé & Camps and Vins el Cep, who shared their experiences and approaches to the recent segmentation and zoning regulations. In this way, attendees also had the chance to discover first-hand about the sustainable processes and practices applied by these wineries, reaffirming the sector's commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.
