On 18 September, a tasting specifically aimed at end consumers will take place in the United States, focusing on the versatility of Cava and its great potential for pairing with different dishes and flavours from around the world. This tasting will be led by the renowned writer and wine educator, Julia Coney.
Julia Coney is a wine writer, educator and consultant based in Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas. She is a recipient of Wine Enthusiast's 2020 Social Visionary Award for her writing and speaking on diversity, equality and inclusion in the wine industry.
Julia holds WSET Level 2 Certification in Wines and Spirits, and is currently pursuing her Master Level Certification in Champagne with the Wine Scholar Guild and WSET Level 3 Certification.
In addition to discovering the potential of Cava to accompany any cuisine from around the world, Julia Coney will present pairing tips and summer recipes to enjoy with the bubbles of Cava.
This activity is part of the promotion of the D.O. Cava in the US market for 2021.
