The competition is structured in two phases designed to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical sommelier skills. The first stage is an online preliminary phase open to all applicants.
Those who achieve the highest scores will be invited to the in‑person final phase, where they will face practical service challenges evaluated by an expert jury.
1.Online Preliminary Phase
All registered candidates complete an online assessment designed to evaluate their knowledge of Cava, and professional understanding. Only the highest‑scoring participants advance to the in‑person finals.
2.In-person Final Phase
Finalists will have the opportunity to attend the live competition in their respective country. During this stage, candidates will face practical challenges evaluated by an expert panel jury.
