Tanners Wine Merchants in the UK discover Cava in depth

As part of the Cava training campaign in the UK market, the Tanners Wine Merchants team participated in this exclusive training session on Cava. Tanners sells approximately two million bottles of wine in the UK each year, from over 20 wine-producing regions. In recent years, Tanners has won multiple national awards, recognising this family-owned wine merchant as one of the best in the UK.

Cava trainer, wine educator and president of the Association of Wine Educators, Laura Clay introduced the session. She said:

"It was fantastic to taste such a wide variety of styles, and the reception of the Cavas was truly amazing. The long-aged Cavas were very much appreciated, and everyone felt that they represented great value for money; in fact, all the wines proved this."

For the occasion we had a selection of 10 Cavas from the following wineries: Alta Alella; Avinyó; Caves Hill; Freixenet; Guilera; Juvé & Camps; Maria Rigol Ordi; Roger Goulart and Vilarnau.
