D.O. Cava in Estonia: new era of excellence towards sustainability
In the framework of the centenary of the international relations between the Spanish Embassy and Estonia, during the month of February multiple events around the Spanish wine and gastronomic art will be held in Tallinn, the capital of the Republic of Estonia.
On February 19, a D.O. Cava Masterclass will be held by Kristjan Markii, active sommelier with more than 20 years of experience, president of the Estonian Sommelier Association and lecturer at the Estonian Sommelier School.
An exclusive tasting of different Cavas de Guarda Superior will demonstrate the high quality and exceptionality found under the Cava Denomination of Origin.
Coinciding with the International Tourism Fair (Tourest) to be held in February in the country, as well as the great interest of the Estonian public in Cava, during this round table we will provide more information about the Designation of Origin, the qualitative traditional method of making Cava, the new segmentation and zoning regulations as well as the sustainability surrounding the project.
