Cava Gastronomic Tour
This exclusive event for professionals from the food and wine sector will take place on 21 October in the emblematic La Pedrera building in Barcelona, as part of the Passeig de Gourmets festival.
The Cava Gastronomic Tour will feature a series of exhibitions and talks by leading experts, starting with the presentation of the new segmentation and zoning regulations by the president of the D.O. Cava, Javier Pagés, together with the prestigious sommelier Ferran Centelles.
Afterwards, the aroma specialist and “Créateur d'Harmonies” François Chartier will present “the aromatic harmonies of Cava”, a scientific study in which he demonstrates that Cava is the best companion for gastronomy, combining perfectly with an infinite number of flavours from around the world.
Ferran Centelles will round off the series of talks with an innovative presentation on new trends in the Cava sector.
The cherry on top of this meeting will be the gastronomic showroom, a live presentation of François Chartier's molecular studio, which will feature international dishes paired with different types of Cava de Guarda, Cava de Guarda Superior Reserva, Cava de Guarda Superior Gran Reserva and Cava de Guarda Superior de Paraje Calificado.
