On 15 March 2026, the Cava D.O. will open the tastings at Prowein, in the Spanish Pavilion, at the ICEX stand. At 12 noon, there will be a masterclass and tasting organised by the Cava D.O. with the aim of highlighting the excellence of long-aged cavas and exploring their qualitative potential.
The tasting will be led by Thomas Götz, a renowned German journalist and Cava Tutor. During the presentation, Götz will highlight the breadth and quality of Superior Reserve Cavas aged for over 60 months, a segment that is still relatively unknown in the German market but which strongly demonstrates the ageing potential and high quality of Cava.
