Seminar "D.O. Cava: new era of excellence" in Japan
On September 26th, within the framework of Cava Discovery Week in Tokyo, a training session will take place for more than 30 Japanese sommeliers.
The Spanish Embassy in Japan will open its doors to this select group for a Masterclass guided by the expert sommelier Takayuki Kikuchi, to train them in depth on the recent new Cava regulations, highlighting the commitment to sustainability as well as the gastronomic versatility that characterizes Cava.
Mr. Kikuchi will be in charge of conducting the Masterclass, educate about Cava and show its pairing potential. The prestigious Mr. Kikuchi is currently director and sommelier responsible for the restoration project of the Aquaignis resort and spa (Japan), former head sommelier of the restaurant Sant Pau Tokyo, and participant of the "Young Professionals in Spanish Gastronomy Program".
