Cava Ambassadors in the United States 2021
From April until the end of 2021, we will enjoy the support of a group of 9 Cava ambassadors, recognised in the USA market for their contributions in the areas of wine, culture, lifestyle and gastronomy. During these months, with their assistance, we will present the five pillars of Cava in an appealing way: the traditional method; Cava’s versatility and multiple pairings; the types of Cava and its aging in bottle; the Mediterranean climate and the different grape varieties; and the new Cava regulations and exacting quality standards.
This programme is intended specifically to generate didactic ideas for the consumer, thereby creating attractive content aimed at the American market.
The diverse range of profiles, and distinctive forms of communication, are ideal for reaching different target audiences, both professionals and end consumers. Seminars, tastings, interviews, live streaming sessions and reels are some of the formats that we will be able to enjoy, thanks to this impressive group of Cava ambassadors.

- Georgia Panagopoulou (@wine.gini) is among the top 10 wine accounts on Instagram, with 112K followers. Always passionate about wine, Georgia decided to leave her business life and dedicate herself full-time to digital wine marketing; she is trained to WSET Diploma Level 3
- Julia Coney (@juliaconey) is a writer, wine educator and consultant. She is a recipient of Wine Enthusiast's 2020 Social Visionary Award for her writing and speaking on diversity, equality and inclusion in the wine industry. She holds a WSET Level Two certification.
- Mike & Jeff (@sparklingwinos) Mike is passionate about bubbles, as well as geography, research, maps and infographics, and Jeff is a certified wine specialist (WSET Level 3) with a passion for bubbles. They are tireless creators of sparkling wine content, from food pairings and value picks, bubbly reviews, news and travel tips, making sparkling wine more accessible, so that learning about (and tasting) it is accessible and fun, with over 34.2K followers on Instagram.
- Samantha Capaldi (@samanthasommelier) Phoenix-based sommelier, influencer, TV personality and online wine and social media consultant. Trained at the International Culinary Center in California, where she received her Level 2 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
- Attorney Somm (@attorneysomm) John is an attorney pursuing his passion for wine as a social media wine content creator and DipWSET student. His Instagram (14.7k followers) was recently ranked by Feedspot as the 75th most-followed wine blog on IG. In addition, he has been featured in Forbes and multiple wine-related podcasts, sharing his knowledge about the wine industry.
- Lyssa Hurvitz (@wishesandwine) Lyssa is passionate about the world of wine, and is a publicist and content creator for social media as well as her blog Wishes and Wine. She has completed her WSET Level 2 Diploma with distinction.
- Hayley (@hayleyscellar) is a WSET Level 3 Certified specialist. Originally from Los Angeles, she is passionate about cooking, travelling, and most importantly, wine education. With almost 20K followers on Instagram, Hayley shares her knowledge as well as wine pairing tips.
- Xingyu (@winememoir) is trained and certified by WSET, with over 45.6K followers on Instagram. She shares her knowledge and tasting notes of the wines she discovers.
